Mary Lou (Landis) Mininger, 89, of Souderton, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Abington Lansdale Jefferson Health Hospital. She was the wife of the late John H. Mininger.
Born February 17, 1929, in Souderton, she was a daughter of the late Elmer F. and Lillian (Blank) Landis. Mrs. Mininger was a graduate of Souderton High School class of 1947 and was a graduate of the Lansdale School of Business.
Mrs. Mininger was a longtime member of Central Schwenkfelder Church who took great pleasure in working behind the scenes wherever help was needed. While in later years she worked in retail, her true occupation was a good, old fashioned homemaker who with love and kindness, and an unfailing sense of humor raised four grateful children and helped out with two grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, John Mininger and his wife, Tina, of Quakertown, Thomas Mininger of Laurel, MD, Beth Anne Mininger of Lansdale, Barbara Mininger and her husband, Michael Beller, of Lansdale, and two grandchildren, Caitlin, and Ian.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother Rev. Donald Landis.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 Am on Friday, January 11, 2019, at Central Schwenkfelder Church, 2111 Valley Forge Rd. Lansdale, PA 19446.
